I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I’m a small-town girl, originally from Ohio. I love nature and making things with my hands. Creativity has always been a part of me. My husband and I have had the privilege of living and serving in Brazil for over twenty years. A few years ago, my desire to write came about because I wanted to give a voice to the brave-hearted children and Brazilians that we work with here. I have a lot of friends in Brazil, but also around the world. Friendship is something that means a lot to me. In my free time, I like to sew, paint pictures, spend time with my animals, and gardening. Jesus changed my life as a young woman, and He lights my pathway, and is the reason for my hope that always springs anew. My husband and I share faith which has helped us to build a marriage of almost thirty-four years. Our grown children who were born to us, Elisa and Jeremy bring us much joy, as well as our adopted son Henrique from Brazil. God has been good to us these many years of serving Him, and we give Him all the glory for everything that we do. Without Him, we would have nothing.
