Today I walked in Holambra, a city where I have called home for quite a few years. This city was pioneered by a ship filled with Dutch people after the Second World War. They were given land that had to be taken back from a swamp. They worked hard, they raised their families, they tried new ideas. They stayed and didn’t return to the Netherlands. They asked the Holy Spirit to bless their work, and they prospered. Today we have a city that we enjoy because of their sacrifices.
